"I just wanted to thank you for finding me my job at Babcock and
Wilcox. As of Monday I was promoted to NC Programmer and will
hopefully be working as a process engineer in the near future.
I would have never had this opportunity without your course and job
placement assistance. "

“The instructors were knowledgeable and eager to help you
learn. Tom (instructor)
even helped me on is own time.
The location and hours were convenient and I started working
before I graduated.”

“I was doing maintenance work at a campground when I heard about the
training on the radio, I applied and I really liked the idea of
learning in an actual machine shop. It’s much better than just a
school classroom situation.
The instructors made it fun but still explained the
information well. I was
hired while I was still in training and made full time after
graduation.”

“At first I liked CITC because they had a good reputation and the
training was only four months.
Once I was a student the fact that it was IN
a machine shop was awesome.
Bottom line on the instructors is they made sometimes
difficult things easy to understand. Both my instructors helped
and tutored me.”

“I graduated from CITC in 2006. A job counselor had
recommended the program.
While I had some experience with manual machines, CNC
training was what I really needed to advance my earning potential.
The fact that the training was conducted in a working CNC machine
shop made it easier to see the machines running actual jobs versus
simply seeing everything on a board in a classroom. The instructors
really cared about the student and made sure I was comfortable
before walking up to the machine controls. The bottom line is, after
graduation and a short internship, I was hired
immediately.”

“I was referred to CITC through Lake County One Stop and visited
other schools as well. But CITC was only a 4-month program and it
was an advantage that the training was in an actual machine
shop. It allowed me to
see exactly what would be expected once I was working in the CNC
field. I started my job
search with help from the school about a month before graduation and
started my new job a week after graduation. The instructors were there
to assist me in any way possible.”

“Instead of just grabbing another dead-end job, I visited CITC. Kurt (instructor) has a
passion for CNC which spills over to the student. He was patient and
understanding. School
administrators were very encouraging. I received a job offer from
Norman Noble two days before graduation and started my new career a
week later."

"We at Presrite Corporation consider Cleveland Industial Trainig
Center to be one of our most valuable resources when it comes to
finding well-trained CNC personnel. The training staff at CITC has always been
accommodating to our needs when it comes to meeting our staffing
requirements. As a
Human Resources professional, I personally like the unique blend
they offer to their students when it comes to instructing both the
technical aspects of the job as well as soft skills
training.
Not
only have we successfully hired a number of their graduates, but we
have also recommended their training program to several of our
current employees.
The
CNC training program at Cleveland Industrial Training Center is
working for Presrite and the partnership we have build together has
afforded us the opportunity to keep up with the current demand for
skill labor.
To all the staff at
CITC...keep up the good work!”

"The
Cleveland Industial Trainig Center is one of the best resources
for Cleveland's manufacturing talent. I actually think it's an
untapped resource. Some of our top employees have come from
CITC and their training has prepared them well. They show upon
the first day able to read blueprints, read and use micrometers, and
understand basic machining principles. With the addition of
their CNC Swiss Machine Operator Training class, CITC will continue
to be our first stop when searching for qualified
individuals."
